- What lead-time do you require on orders?
Generally, the longer lead time we have the better search we can perform for the right candidate.
- What is meant by the terms Permanent Placement, Temp to Permanent and Temporary?
- Permanent Placement (Direct Hire) – The employer contacts us and requests an employee to come on board as a "permanent" employee immediately. The process consists of the following: complete job description is taken from the customer by the recruiter and a search is conducted to find the best possible candidate to match the customer's requirements and the customer's corporate culture. The candidate goes through an interview process and once a decision has been made, a start date for the employee is determined. Once the employee begins employment with the client, they are working for the client and are not on our payroll.
- Temp to Permanent - Some of our client companies will hire an individual on a temp to perm basis. These positions could lead to full-time or regular employment. The temporary assignment actually becomes a working interview. Our contractors work for our client during a trial period during which both the employee and the client consider establishing a "permanent" employment relationship.
- Temporary (Short-term contractor) - O&P Career Placement Services, Inc. hires its own employees and assigns them to support or supplement a client's work force in situations involving temporary skill shortages, seasonal workloads, special projects, and also as a way to compliment their core staff and increase productivity.
- How does O&P Career Placement Services, Inc. handle a situation when there is not an available person for an assignment?
If a suitable candidate is not available, we let the employer know as soon as possible and have suggestions so that the employer client may evaluate alternative options.
- What is O&P Career Placement Services, Inc.'s guarantee?
If a direct hire or full-time employee is not acceptable and we are notified during the first ninety days from the date of employment, we will replace that employee at no charge.
